Unsung heroes for autism awareness – New featured section

Autism Daily Newscast launches Profiles in Brief

October 30th, marks the launch of another section of our Autism Daily Newscast: Profiles in Brief

For the past couple of months, our Current Events Reporter, Jo Worgan has been on a mission to find interesting stories and people on the topic of autism and Jo has come up with some amazing features.   She has been relentlessly tweeting ‏@mummyworgan

“I love to write and share stories on the subject of #autism for @AutismDNews Do you have a story? Event? Let me know.”

However, there are many great people – men, women, teens and children doing terrific things that we either don’t know about or don’t have the resources to report.  We are happy to accept short articles from any of our readers about individuals who are currently doing wonderful work in the area of autism, autism awareness or anything on the spectrum.

Articles should be 200 to 300 words and include a photo. We reserve the right to do some minor editing if we choose to print the piece. A one line sentence about the writer is also welcomed.
